synthetic biology

Current Synthetic & Systems Biology
Current Synthetic & Systems Biology engages in publishing broad based on emerging field of synthetic and system biology focusing on the design and construction of biological devices and systems for a variety of biotechnology and medical applications combining biological research and engineering, for example: designing, modifying and constructing synthetic gene networks with network systems biology approaches to fight infectious diseases diabetes.
frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology: Synthetic Biology
The section is dedicated to publishing research articles in synthetic biology and engineered living systems. It aims to introduce major insights into emerging paradigms that apply systems concept and engineering formalisms to design and construct new biological parts, devices, and systems for novel functions or life forms that do not exist in nature.
ACS Synthetic Biology
ACS Synthetic Biology is a monthly peer-reviewed journal dedicated to research in synthetic biology and biological systems. The journal publishes high-quality research that demonstrate integrative, molecular approaches enabling better understanding of the organization and function of cells, tissues, and organisms in systems. The journal is particularly interested in studies on the design and synthesis of new genetic circuits and gene products; computational methods in the design of systems; and integrative applied approaches to understanding disease and metabolism. The journal provides open access options.
Journal of the Royal Society Interface: synthetic biology
J. R. Soc. Interface welcomes articles of high quality research at the interface of the physical and life sciences. It provides a high-quality forum to publish rapidly and interact across this boundary in two main ways: J. R. Soc. Interface publishes research applying chemistry, engineering, materials science, mathematics and physics to the biological and medical sciences; it also highlights discoveries in the life sciences of relevance to the physical sciences. Both sides of the interface are considered equally and it is one of the only journals to cover this exciting new territory. J. R. Soc. Interface welcomes contributions on a diverse range of topics, including but not limited to; biocomplexity, bioengineering, bioinformatics, biomaterials, biomechanics, bionanoscience, biophysics, chemical biology, computer science (as applied to the life sciences), medical physics, synthetic biology, systems biology, theoretical biology and tissue engineering. The journal provides an open access option
