Overview about Mycobiology Journals with free access to articles in full text

Mycobiology is an international journal devoted to the publication of fundamental and applied investigations on all aspects of mycology and their traditional allies. The journal is published quarterly, and is the official publication of the Korean Society of Mycology.
IMA Fungus
IMA Fungus is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, full colour, fast-track journal. Published papers are immediately distributed to several libraries (for effective publication under the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature). The journal strongly supports good practice policies, and requires herbarium voucher specimens to be deposited in a herbarium with an online database, cultures and DNA in long-term genetic resource collections, sequences in GenBank , alignments in TreeBASE, and taxonomic novelties in MycoBank .
Fungal Biology
Fungal Biology is the international research journal of the British Mycological Society. Fungal Biology publishes original contributions in all fields of basic and applied research involving fungi and fungus-lke organisms (including filamentous fungi, yeasts, lichen fungi, oomycetes, and slime moulds). These fields include biochemistry, biodeterioration, biotechnology, cell biology, developmental biology, disease control, ecology, environment, evolution, fungal physiology, genetics, genomics, geomycology, insect pathology, medical mycology, molecular genetics, mutualistic interactions, physiology, plant pathology, secondary metabolites, taxonomy and systematics, and techniques. Fungal Biology supports Open Access.
Fungal Biology and Biotechnology
Fungal Biology and Biotechnology is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original scientific research and reviews covering all areas of fundamental and applied research which involve unicellular and multicellular fungi.
Mycosphere Online
Mycosphere is an international peer-reviewed journal with swift publication of high quality papers on fungal biology, including lichens. This includes reviews, research articles, methodology papers, taxonomic works such as monographs, and checklists. Mycosphere has a policy of Open access publishing.
publishes research papers and short communications. Access to full-text articles is free.
Fungal Genomics & Biology
Fungal Genomics & Biology, a broad-based journal was founded on two key tenets: To publish the most exciting researches with respect to the subject of Fungal Genomics & Biology. Secondly, to provide a rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing and to disseminate the articles freely for research, teaching and reference purposes. As a member of publishers international Linking association, PILA, Journal of Fungal Genomics & Biology (of OMICS International) follows creative commons License and scholars open access publishing policies.
Mycology (An International Journal on Fungal Biology)
Mycology publishes papers on all aspects of mycology including lichens, with preference to systematics, ecology and biodiversity, genomics and proteomics, and molecular phylogeny and evolution. Other appropriate subjects for the journal include bioinformatics, physiology and biochemistry, pathology, morphology development, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, fungal enzymology, fungal metabolites and new techniques. Mycology is the official ournal of the Mycological Society of China.
International Journal of Microbiology and Mycology
International journal of Microbiology and Mycology (IJMM) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in the field of biology, microbiology, genetics, pathology, virology, bacteriology, mycology, bioremediation, pathogenic disease and remediation, waste management, enzymology, parasitology and interactions of microbes with other flora and fauna.
Studies in Mycology
The CBS Fungal Biodiversity Centre taxonomy series "Studies in Mycology" is an international, open access journal which publishes systematic monographs of filamentous fungi and yeasts, and at occasions the proceedings of special meetings related to all fields of mycology, biotechnology, ecology, molecular biology, pathology and systematics.
