evolutionary biology

BMC Evolutionary Biology The scope of BMC Evolutionary Biology covers aspects of molecular and non-molecular evolution of all organisms, as well as phylogenetics and palaeontology. Journal of Evolutionary Biology (JEB) Journal of Evolutionary Biology , published on behalf of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology (ESEB), is a bimonthly, peer-reviewed, international journal. It covers both micro- and macro-evolution of all types of organisms. The aim of the Journal is to integrate perspectives across molecular and microbial evolution, behaviour, genetics, ecology, life histories, development, palaeontology, systematics and morphology. All JEB content is freely available once it is two years old.
International Journal of Evolutionary Biology International Journal of Evolutionary Biology is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of evolutionary biology. EvoDevoEvoDevo publishes articles on a broad range of topics associated with the translation of genotype to phenotype in a phylogenetic context. Understanding the history of life, the evolution of novelty and the generation of form, whether through embryogenesis, budding, or regeneration are amongst the greatest challenges in biology. We support the understanding of these processes through the many complementary approaches that characterize the field of evo-devo. Articles are freely available.
Genome Biology and EvolutionGenome Biology and Evolution (GBE) publishes leading original research at the interface between evolutionary biology and genomics. Papers considered for publication report novel evolutionary findings that concern natural genome diversity, population genomics, the structure, function, organisation and expression of genomes, comparative genomics, proteomics, and environmental genomic interactions. Major evolutionary insights from the fields of computational biology, structural biology, developmental biology, and cell biology are also considered, as are theoretical advances in the field of genome evolution. GBE's scope embraces genome-wide evolutionary investigations at all taxonomic levels and for all forms of life - within populations or across domains. Its aims are to further the understanding of genomes in their evolutionary context and further the understanding of evolution from a genome-wide perspective.
Trends in Evolutionary Biology
Trends in Evolutionary Biology is an online-only Open Access peer-reviewed journal publishing articles that span the breadth of modern evolutionary biology. Articles can range in scope from the origin of life to the evolutionary diversification of life and of biomacromolecules, from experimental evolution to evolutionary bioinformatics. Trends in Evolutionary Biology publishes original articles, brief reports, editorials and commentaries, review articles, and book reviews.
Evolutionary Applications
Evolutionary Applications is a fully peer reviewed open access journal. It publishes papers that utilize concepts from evolutionary biology to address biological questions of health, social and economic relevance. Papers are expected to employ evolutionary concepts or methods to make contributions to areas such as (but not limited to): agriculture, aquaculture, biomedicine, biotechnology, climate change, conservation biology, disease biology, fisheries and wildlife management, forestry, invasion biology and toxicology. Theoretical, empirical, synthesis or perspective papers are welcome.
Journal of Phylogenetics & Evolutionary Biology
The Journal of Phylogenetics & Evolutionary Biology (JPGEB) was founded on two key tenets: To publish the most exciting researches with respect to the subjects of phylogenetics & evolutionary biology. Secondly, to provide a rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing, and to disseminate the articles freely for research, teaching and reference purposes.

Journal of Evolutionary Biology Research
Journal of Evolutionary Biology Research (JEBR) is a peer reviewed, open access journal. The journal covers all areas of of the subject such as: Mating Systems and Strategies, Trends in Ecology and Evolution, Genetical Evolution of Social Behaviour and Genetic drift and Biased mutation.

Evolutionary Biology
Evolutionary Biology is dedicated to the view that evolutionary theory is a unifying framework for the biosciences. The journal is a forum in which critical reviews, original research, commentaries, and controversial views are brought together to contribute to greater understanding of the origins and diversity of life. The journal includes open access option.
Molecular Biology and Evolution
Molecular Biology and Evolution
publishes research at the interface between molecular and evolutionary biology. The journal publishes investigations of molecular evolutionary patterns and processes, tests of evolutionary hypotheses that use molecular data, and studies that use molecular evolutionary information to address questions about biological function at all levels of organization. The journal provides free access to selected articles (Oxford Open ).
